Dr. Kambiz Tajkarimi earned his B.S in Biology with focus in neuroscience from Saint Louis University (St. Louis, MO) with highest distinction. He obtained his Medical degree from Ponce School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. Upon completion of medical school, he pursued his Urology residency at the George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, DC, considered one of the leading centers of surgical innovation in the field of urology. In 2008, he founded and developed a very successful laparoscopic and robotic urology program at the Summit Health System in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, and led the program as its Chairman until 2013.

Dr. Tajkarimi brings vast experience in laparoscopic and robotic surgery and the treatment of complex urological conditions to our community. He is one of the more experienced urologic robotic surgeons in the Mid-Atlantic region, performing over 1000 robotic and lap surgeries. His clinical interests center on in the minimally invasive treatment of urological cancers. Dr. Tajkarimi also has special expertise in the treatment of Female Pelvic Floor Disorders, Urinary Stones, General Pediatric Urology, BPH, Female Urology & the treatment of Erectile Dysfunction (ED). Dr. Tajkarimi’s research has been published in multiple peer review journals and presented in medical society meetings. He is a senior investigator for multiple clinical trials.
